
The membership and marketing listserve was formed in 2003 at the Let’s SOAR (Share Our Abundant Resources) workshop at the CCMA conference.
Founded and sponsored by the CoCoMaMas (& PaPas), the purpose of this listserve is to facilitate discussion and exchange of ideas and information about co-op membership and marketing at our food co-ops in order to improve the results of that work. Listserve subscribers are individuals who are currently employed at a food co-op and engaged in membership and marketing work.
Subscription cost is $30 per e-mail address per year.

Vacation messages – if you are planning on using a vacation message while you are out of the office, we ask that you notify the CGIN office. Auto responses are sent out every time a message is sent, so while you are away, your fellow listserve readers will be receiving an automated reply from you with every new listserve message. Please notify the CGIN office in advance if you will be away and need to use an automated notification service or if you simply do not want listserve messages to pile up in your inbox. If you forget and we get automated replies to the whole listserve, the CGIN office will temporary unsubscribe your email address while you are away (and send you a message notifying you that this has happened). Then simply send the office a message letting us know you have returned and need to be re-subscribed. Note that you can also easily review all listserve conversations while unsubscribed by reviewing the MandM listserve archive (information above).
